how should the surface quality of aluminum casting be controlled? According to our experience, it can be reflected from the following aspects:
First, the surface roughness of the casting mold should comply with the requirements of GB/T15114-1994.
Two, casting mold does not allow cracks, lack of casting, loose, air bubbles and any penetrable defects.
Three, casting mold allows abrasions, dents, lack of meat and mesh burrs and other defects. However, the extent and quantity of its defects should be consistent with the standards agreed by the supplier and the buyer.
Four, casting mold gate, flare, overflow mouth, skin separation, ejector trace and so on should be cleaned up. But it is allowed to leave a trace.
Five. If there is no special regulation, the setting of the casting process, such as the position of the top rod, the position of the parting line, the location of the gate and the overflow port, shall be stipulated by the factory itself. Otherwise, the drawings shall be marked or agreed upon by both the suppliers and the suppliers.
Six, the casting mold needs special processing surface, such as polishing, shot peening, chromium plating, coating, anodizing, chemical oxidation, etc., should be indicated on the drawings or agreed by both suppliers and suppliers.
